Otsego County Busted Mugshots is not a government office. It cannot confirm custody, a release, or a booking status; obtain records; post bail; or act for a court or law-enforcement agency. Those questions must go directly to the responsible public office.
Custody and Record Contacts
The following Otsego County contacts serve different purposes. A current-custody question is not the same as a request for a report or booking record, and a court disposition is a separate record.
Otsego County Sheriff’s Office
Address
172 County Highway 33W
Cooperstown, NY 13326
Main office
607-547-4271
Office hours
Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Current county custody: Contact Otsego County Jail Corrections at 607-547-4252. The official Corrections page is not a public inmate roster.
- County-held record copies: Use the Sheriff Civil Office at 607-547-4273 and the records-request process. Sgt. Kristopher Solovitch is listed as Records Access Officer.
- Arresting agency records: Contact the local police department, Town Constable, State Police, or other agency that made the arrest or created the incident record. A town location does not establish who holds the file.
- State-prison custody: Use the official NYS DOCCS Incarcerated Lookup. It covers state custody, not every Otsego County arrest or county jail booking.
- Federal or immigration custody: Use the separate Federal Bureau of Prisons Inmate Locator or ICE Online Detainee Locator when that custody system applies. Neither replaces a county booking or court record.
- Case outcome or disposition: Contact the court handling the case or use the New York local justice court locator to identify the appropriate court record route.
- Emergency: Call 911. Do not use a records request, a site search tool, or a non-emergency office line for an emergency.
The Otsego County source overview explains why the arresting agency, the receiving jail, the state custody system, and the court can each hold a different part of the record history.
